Asset loss in the form of damaged or unsellable product is one of the most frustrating a business will face. So much of inventory loss is preventable with just a little effort. What makes it especially difficult is that is can snowball into more losses like missed sales and customer satisfaction problems.

We take steps to protect your inventory before it even reaches our facility. Our facilities are state-of-the-art and are equipped with special climate and temp control areas to accommodate products that require such handling. Our receivers safely and systematically unload each delivery assigning barcodes and applying labels as each item comes through the door. We scan everything into our system so we know what we have, where it should be stored, and all the miscellaneous information about that item. It’s all at our fingertips.

The system monitors inventory levels and expiration dates and provides notifications of the need to place and order or rotate stock so it does not expire before it can be sold.

If our staff finds anything that could negatively impact customer sales and revenue they report it to their supervisor who will make notification to the customer.

Our facilities are capable of handling hazardous materials and fragile items. We also have climate control sections if they are needed.

Because of the varied types of items we deal with, our staff undergoes ongoing and intensive training. Some parts of their jobs may require certifications and compliance with governmental regulations. They also receive continuous training on safety protocols and techniques.

If there are any questions regarding how a particular product needs to be handled, our staff will reach out to the manufacturer to confirm what the specifications and requirements are so that everyone is confident they are being handled and stored properly.
